We thought it would be nice to try sketching as another activity to slow ourselves down. Since Russ got the pad and I got my small moleskine, he was tasked to make "a serious drawing" while I had to make several sketches to equate to "a serious drawing".
I quite like the way I caught Russ's stare, the pink-for-red gimmick, and the challenge of drawing concentric rectangles through the silhouette of the dachshund lamp.
